I should probably stay in my lane as you are way more experienced than me. I may have missed it, but what voltage and amperage are you sending to it? I am new at this and working on the same batteries. I was considering getting a 60VDC variable power supply and adjusting the voltage and amps to a trickle charge after doing a reset of the battery. Would this reduce the heat generation on the resisters? Also, I have not looked at the circuitry but only reason I can think to have bleed down resistors (besides to make it fail sooner) would be for overcharge purposes. Could the bleed somehow be stopped by the circuitry when the battery has been discharged to like 38.5VDC as an example?
