How to remove and replace pro switch charging port

My switch pro controller's (3rd Party controller, but looks the same as the switch pro controller) charging port was not charging, when I looked inside the port and even opened the controller, I realized that the pin inside the port was broken off and the port was no longer capable of charging. I decided to get my soldering iron (not a professional one, more of a hobbyist or beginner soldering iron) and decided to fix the issue on my own. As of right now, I'm having trouble getting the port to come off. I think that there could be still some solder left from the previous one that is still holding the port, but it's so small that it's hard to see. I've gone through maybe 10 cm of wick and a good chunk of paste but the port still won't come off. I don't see any solder (from my naked eye) but the port is still very tightly on the motherboard. Unfortunately, there wasn't any video online to show the replacement process of the charging port so I am right now just trying over and over again to remove any possible solder keeping the port still on.
