Just thought I would give you some relevant info here, though its not a solution. nothing seeped under your screen and you didn't press too hard or anything. The anti glare coating also acts as a filter (maybe UV or something related?) to balance the screen's green part. So when it's removed the screen becomes green until UV light somehow temporarily makes it normal again. So I think a solution would be to try to find some film to apply to the screen to act as the same original filter/anti-glare. Although i'm just a dum dum and I don't know exactly what properties this would need or what would work for that.
