I have resolved it by replacement with a refurbished genuine Apple screen. It is surprising for us that sometimes there is a link between the quality of the screen and Face ID also.

I tried two aftermarket alternative screens from different suppliers but face ID was not working. As soon I used refurbished genuine, it works straight away.
