That's a negatory, good buddy. The iPhone SE 2020 is comparable to and based on the iPhone 8, so the two screens can be used interchangeably, but the SE won't take a 6S screen. Sorry, would be nice if it would've worked, but the mounting points, connectors and flex cables are all different and incompatible.

As a general rule, you're almost always safe in assuming a part for one phone won't work on another. There are a couple of exceptions where Apple reused one design on the next generation phone; e.g., the iPhones 5 and SE 1st gen and the iPhones 8 and SE 2020, but otherwise it's pretty much always a no for interchangeability.

The good news is that the LCD screens on these older phones are getting cheaper all the time; a quick glance around found a brand new screen for sale on Amazon for about $30 USD.

A thorough search may even come up with cheaper alternatives; I'd start with Amazon, eBay and AliExpress.
