Battery Replacement problem for Dell 9360

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

I recently replaced the battery for my Dell 9360 using the Dell XPS 13 9360 Replacement Battery kit from iFixit, and it seemed to work fine for a few days, but now my battery doesn't seem to be charging properly. I followed the battery replacement instructions meticulously ([guide|148431]). However, now my battery often gets stuck charging at odd numbers like 32% for hours on end (similar to this post: [post|762899]) and will last < 2 hours without being plugged in. Somewhat relatedly, whenever it is plugged in, the fan is usually whirring a lot trying to keep cool.

I made a battery report like the post above's answer by @jayeff suggested. According to it, I have a 60,002 mWh design capacity, and a 45,288 mWh full charge capacity. Are these two numbers sufficiently close to each other? Do I have a bad battery? Is this a calibration problem? Did I just buy the wrong one??

Any help is appreciated!
