As suggested in my comment above, count how many times the red light blinks.

Looking at the [link|https://www.manualslib.com/manual/827100/Panasonic-Tc-50ps14.html?page=13#manual|blink timing chart] from the service manual it appears to be an A board problem.

It will blink in a repeating pattern e.g. 5 blinks > pause > 5 blinks > pause etc.
