What was the final solution?[br]
I have the Asus X571GT and my laptop has been abruptly shutting down for over a week now. Twice in one day, then 7 days later, twice again, and 3 days later (today) 4 times.[br]
I did notice that before each time, I'll get a notification on my screen that my laptop is switching from the plugged in power supply, to the battery, before switching back to the power supply. Within 10min it shuts down abruptly. Then I used my laptop just on battery alone, worked fine! and when it dropped down to 15% I plugged it in, and the second I plugged it in, the laptop abruptly shuts down.

One Youtuber said "90% of the time its the power supply" so I ordered a new one.[br]
I used a spare one in the meantime, and again, it shut down. So It's the battery, or something internally that regulates the power.[br]
But the MyAsus says the power works fine =/
