No power and clicking/ticking sound

Hi All,

So i have a series 4 44mm watch which was working but once i changed the screen suddenly it has stopped working. On charge, there is a ticking sound like a clock. Tried a different battery and it was the same. It did become really hot after i changed the screen and left a burn mark as well on the screen. What could be the issue?
