As for the repair, not sure if you are thinking of repairing the batteries. That is actually relatively easy to do. All you need to do is to crack the case open and replace the 4 18650 2500mAh 30A (LR1865LD) batteries. Cost is about USD $6-$8 per piece. The cells are identical between Theragun models, but there seem to be changes in battery controller.

@ststom looks like the same pain to take it apart, but I like the battery better. No hard case. Plastic wrap can be cut and removed. I would even bet it's the same cells in there :-)
