Hello,
Last night I took this phone out of my draw and put in the Qi charge it said ~50%. I hastily took it off Qi charge and tried to turn it on but it wouldn't turn on. [br]
I then put it back on Qi charge and it was saying 0% but I noticed the phone was getting quite hot. Now when I put it back on Qi charge it doesn't light up at all nor does it get hot.
I also tried holding down the lower volume key while pressing power on for 10 seconds but it still didn't turn on.
I have cleared out the lint using a sim tool so that I could put the micro USB charger in but it still doesn't light up.
It is drawing 5.15v .49A as shown:

It's not really the phone I need but a google authentication code.
Do I need to tear it down and test the battery and other connections? Other than my iFixit kit and a hairdryer what do I need? I also have a 27 piece smart phone repair kit. I figure I may need some IPA and a syringe too.[br]
[br]
I would like to test this on other phones of the same model first
