Installing fresh Mac OS X - what about license?

I have lost my SSD disk with Mac OS X Catalina installed.

Now I bought new SSD and want to install fresh Mac OS X on this new SSD disk.

My friend who have working Mac OS will download Mac OS X Big Sur installation disk and create a bootable pendrive.

I will install fresh Big Sur using that pendrive but what about licensing?

Isn't it that the Mac OS X installation disk will be assigned the Apple ID of my friend or license code of my firend's MacBook?

I will use XCode software on my Mac and need to make sure the OS is all legal.
