As long as the logic board wasn't damaged, everything else is replaceable. On an older phone like that one, parts are getting very cheap; just keep in mind that to replace the case you'll need to gut the entire phone and move everything over to the new one. Some of that pain can be alleviated by buying a case "with small parts", meaning things like buttons and some of the flex cables will already be installed.
On the other hand, you could also consider buying one in good shape that's iCloud locked. The 5C's are great for that, since the only thing you have to move over is the logic board; no Touch ID or Face ID or paired assemblies to worry about. Keep in mind that the phone will identify itself as pink in the settings no matter what color case you put it in, lol. "I'm green but identify as pink."
