I had the same issue with my older Sounlink model 404600. Followed the reset instructions from the Bose website Everything is working again.

Product settings are not lost during this reset.

# Press and hold the ***Mute***  button for 10 seconds until the lights on the speaker briefly blink.
# Press the ***Power***  button to turn the system back on, then resume normal use.
