I am closing up the Pixel 3 XL however I can't get the cable to lock back in. The black tab on the back of the connector won't pop back out.

To remove the cable, I needed to push in the black part in the back. I'm not sure if after inserting that this will pop back out. The sensor is working, maybe I'll use left over battery adhesive to keep it in place?
