Changing only the front glass on the external screen?

The lcd is undamaged, there are simply some cracks at this the top of my fold 3s front cover screen. They are at the top of along the black border.
Is it possible to simply change the glass and not the lcd etc? Samsung said no and so did mobile klinik. Yet you can very clearly but just the glass online.
I'm joy paying 300$ to replace a 10$ piece of glass simply so I can trade the phone.
Can I change only the glass?
