George Kovac, Did anything happen to the phone, like was it dropped or maybe it was connected to the charger and the cable was “yanked”?
I’m not too familiar with this device, but you could probably source a new charging (dock) assembly for the phone, for not too much money. The other solution is to desolder the one on the phone now, and solder on a new one. ***NOTE***! This requires micro soldering and skills far beyond normal soldering (and equipment). I wouldn’t attempt it for a first repair?
When going into micro soldering, you need to practice a LOT in order to get the hang of it. Getting fex a bunch of iCloud locked iPhone boards and practice on them. Bonus is that you can use the boards as donor boards for later.
