Hello guys, so my old macbook is pretty fine and still does its job. I can still do work on it just with slight modifications to it. Loaded some kexts to defeat the kernel task issue.
However, when I leave my trackpad connected to the board, the macbook keeps on sleeping. I checked the temps using macs fan control and i see that whenever the trackpad is connected, the temps under “Memory Proximity” shoots up to 90c then the macbook sleeps. When I wake it up, the temps goes down to 30 and does it again. But when I disconnect the trackpad the macbook just works fine. I read here on a thread that the trackpad flex has a sensor in it. It my trackpad flex shot?
