After reading a ton about special cables etc etc I installed Wifi File Transfer PRO from PLAY STORE on my RCA Maven Pro 11 tablet (thanks to comment above) and transferred via home wifi a 2.5 GB video file from my tablet to my laptop in 9 minutes wirelessly. For reference it takes about 6 minutes to transfer the same file directly from my iPhone to my laptop using a USB cable. The app cost me 1.40 CDN so I saved a bundle compared to special cables or Droid transfer.
Still wondering if the "special cable" is just USB 2 to USB 3 but haven't found one on Amazon as of yet, but again I don't really need one, I'm just a developer who never gives up lol...
