first of all make sure that you disk is really not spinning. When you first power up the game cube listen closely if you can hear the drive spin. It will stop when you open it. If you absolutely do not hear anything and are 100% certain that your drive is not spinning, it is possible that your drive motor is burnt out. this would require either a new optical drive or a repair of the drive motor. Since it can't see a disk, the optical drive won't start up. Try to clean the lens with isopropyl alcohol.
