I have upgraded my kids' iMac Intel 21.5" EMC 2545's with your guide to i7-3770s and maxed out the ram to 16gigs.
Other than chipping the glass on one of the iMac while removing the dislay, yes it was the first attempt :/, all went smooth until I tried to turn them back on after reassambly.
I'm getting half displays on both machines as attached.
I've tried resetting the rams and so on but out of ideas.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hey @danj;

I've received the replacement LVDS cable, swapped it, no change on image so its not the cable issue.

I've received the HDMI adapter and connected an external display and all is working well as far as I can tell... Even onboard display is showing connected and working, see image, does this mean that I damaged the screen not the logic board connector and a screen replacement will fix my problem?

Thanks for your assist with this, much appreciated.
