Battery status idle, not charging after calibration

Hi, I bought if Ifixit battery replacement for dell xps 13, replacement went well, first test successful, battery was charging with 130Wh AC adapter.
After recommended battery calibration, full charge and complete discharge by the computer, the battery is not charging anymore.
bios tells battery charging status: idle, health status: excellent, no power is transferred to the battery
I am left with 2% battery life in the new one.
Switching ac adaptor does not help.
I put in the old battery again, which is charging with the mentioned 130Wh adaptor, but doesn’t hold capacity….
Is there a known solution for this situation?
