The Xbox turns on and makes a chime and the xbox logo lights up. The console sounds like it is going to turn on,I was able to put in a disk and it could take it and the disk is spinning and the disk drive sounds normal, so its getting proper voltage, but the console just turns off after around 5 seconds. I have checked the motherboard for liquid damage. Anyone have any ideas of what can be wrong? I have not worked on motherboards much, so I don't know how to diagnose them. The pins for the power supply are supplying proper voltage to the board, 12 volts I think. Is it possible theres a bad power supply? I doubt it because the console appears to function at first, but I don't know how to diagnose Xboxs so maybe im wrong.

The Xbox seems to work normally for around 5 seconds before turning off. It can take disks, and the drive seems to run normally. It doesn't display anything before shutting down. Could the Power Supply not be supplying enough power? I looked inside the console, no water damage and the board appears to look fine, no obvious issues. Should I buy another power supply to try?
