I have one of these too (with the same issue)and I have found that if I use a adapter to put it in a different port(in my case it’s DVI to HDMI)it will work just fine again
-I don’t think it’s a problem with the display,I think it’s just a strange case of it acting strange and not communicating with the computer correctly
