Does your bios recognize your hdd/ssd at all, even if not bootable?

If it's not recognized at all, check your connections. Your drive could also be dead.

If it's recognized as a drive but not bootable, that might mean your OS is corrupted.

If that's the case, I would check the Acer website for the keystroke combination that lets

you access the utility on the hidden restore partition on your hdd/ssd. They should have directions for how

to proceed from there. Maybe you can do a repair rather than reinstalling your entire OS.
