CLP-510 Printer "Wasting Data" and no printout

I have a Samsung CLP-510 printer.    I can ask it to print a demo page, and it comes out fine.   [br]

Sending a file from the computer gets a "Wasting Data" message, the On Line light blinks and no page is printed.   The printer is certainly getting the data, However no printing.[br]
[br]
Any hints, or is this big printer now a brick?[br]
