Hi I've just encountered basically the same situation as you today. For me it started yesterday with scroll wheel not working properly.

I'm stuck with with 10s timer on auto now so unusable.

Just wondering if you found a fix for it?

Read somewhere that it might be the wheel, so may try and replace it myself
