iFixit has guides to replace the Upper Case (keyboard) for the 17" models divided into to types: for the 1.0~1.5 gHz models and the 1.67 gHz Hi Res model. But that leaves out the 1.67 GHz non-Hi-Res model, the one that came out in January 2005. I believe that the parts are the same for both models when comparing photos of them online. But the vendor who sells the part I think I need says it's only for the January 2005 model. Does anyone know if these keyboard/palm rest assemblies are the same for these two 1.67 GHz models?
