From what I know thunderbolt 2 is only really useful if your using it with things from around its time,so like you said it’s pretty useless nowadays but here’s what I am aware of that can be adapted into

HDMI

VGA

USB

Ethernet/LAN

Audio

DVI

There’s probably a few more but these are the ones that I am aware of :-)
