Hi!
So I got a MacBook 12” Retina mid 2017.
And the built-in keyboard and trackpad doesn’t work. If I go to settings to adjust the trackpad it says that it can’t even find a trackpad.
The keyboard doesn’t light up or anything. But the power button works.
So I have done my fair chair of googling around. Tried everything that I can. At the moment I’m using a corded keyboard and trackpad.
I’m now done to thinking it’s a mechanical error.
I’m totally open to fixing this myself, buying some tools and following guides. But I’m thinking of replacing the IPD cable (?) and maybe the trackpad?
What do you guys think?
