Replaced the battery about 10 days ago and it worked great. Then last night I let it drain nearly completely, and it showed at 1%. When I plugged in, the battery icon did not indicate the battery was charging, and it remained at 1%.
So I reset the SMC, and now it does not recognise there is a battery at all. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, multiple reboots, and uninstalling AlDente in case that was causing trouble. So now I have a dead battery with no means to get any charge into it, and a computer running at 10% the normal speed.
Help please?
