This is an easy one. Well usually it's pretty difficult especially for someone with no experience disassembling cellphones to take one apart. Which is exactly what you MUST do for any hope of the rice trick working. I've seen maybe a handful out of a hundred+ phones that have water damage have the rice trick worked on. Put it this way if the phone isn't taken apart battery removed etc and all pieces motherboard, screen, digitizer disassembled completely the rice can't totally pull all the water out of the nooks and crannies and the water sits inside the phone for too long and it destroys the phone if the phone is disassembled like I mentioned you have a better chance of getting a positive result. The Samsung Galaxy A11 is one with a little work you can take apart fairly quickly and easy compared to most smartphones. So if you have this problem quickly get a hair dryer or what I use myself is a heat gun and heat up around the edge of the screen and carefully and slowly start to separate the screen from the rest of the case. You may have to heat it up multiple times so take your time you don't want to go from a little water damage to a cracked screen or worse. This from not a SAMSUNG employee thank you.
