If it is inserted correctly and it is still not detected, try mounting the card and check if it is now being detected. Go to Settings, tap Device care > Storage > Advanced. Under Portable storage, tap your SD card, and then tap Mount.
If still no good try formatting the SD card. Go to Settings, tap Device care > Storage > Advanced. Under Portable storage, tap your SD card, tap Format, and then follow the prompts.
