Hi @malice9182,

It seems as though there is no power getting from the charger to the laptop to either charge the battery or to turn it on.

This could be either a faulty charger or more likely a faulty [https://www.ebay.com/itm/254816563082|DC-In jack - Lenovo part #01FR146] (supplier example only).

Sometime the centre pin connection in the DC-In jack breaks internally due to frequent insertions and removals of the charger plug. If this is the case the DC-In jack has to be replaced as it cannot be repaired.

First check if there is 20.5V DC on the cable plug of the charger.

If that is OK next you will have to open the laptop and use an Ohmmeter to verify that both the +ve and -ve connections through the DC-In jack are OK from input to output.

Here's the [https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/ideapad3_hmm.pdf|hardware maintenance manual] for the laptop.

Go to p.45 to see how to remove the systemboard, so that the jack can be tested and replaced if necessary. If the jack is faulty, search online using the part number ''only'' to find suppliers.
