I replaced the batteries, both behind the screen and in the keyboard. Before resealing the device, I put it through its paces-everything works perfectly-except the detach function. I want to be certain that I have not mechanically compromised the unit. Therefore, how can I make certain that the release feature works properly before resealing the screen?
