My MacBook Pro keyboard suddenly stopped working a couple months ago, and has not fixed itself by leaving it alone and restarting etc. none of the keys are working, although the backlight is still working except for the 'Y' key.
does anyone know if this is likely a small fix or will I need to replace my keyboard. wondering if it's a easy fix or more worth saving up for a whole new MacBook

it has also stopped recognising the built in speakers most of the time, idk if that's related
