Broken LiDAR Scanner iPhone 13, rear system change

Hi, I replaced a damage iPhone with a pulled rear system form another iPhone, but have not transferred the former LiDAR Scanner. As there is a manual for this on here, I used the LiDAR sensor from another iPhone, but it seems to be paired to the iPhone as well. Has anyone ever exchanged a LiDAR Scanner successfully, so one that was not installed in the original device? The measure app (to test the LiDAR) just freezes….
