Hello all. I recently replaced by MacBook Pro battery with an iFixit battery and it appears to be working almost flawlessly. The only "problem" I am having with it is that the battery will deplete itself after normal use down to 7%, stay at this 7% reading for a little while, and then shut off like the battery dies. It does not count down to 0% and shut off, but rather always down to 7% and then dies 20-30 minutes after that. Is there a way to reset/recondition the battery to have the ability to count down lower before shutting off? I have read about resetting the SMS but am afraid to mess up this new battery that I just replaced ;) Any help you all could provide would be greatly appreciated.
