Try a power refresh and check if that resolves the problem.
* Disconnect the charger from the laptop and then remove the battery from the laptop. Here's the ifixit [guide|91326] guide that shows how to do this.
* Press and hold the laptop's Power On button for a ''full 15 seconds'' and then release it.
* Reinsert the battery into the laptop.
* Reconnect the charger and try turning on the laptop.
