I would try cleaning the headphone jack as iv used many different headphones and this happens quite a lot with stuff that hasn’t been cleaned
Make sure there are not corrosion on any other the pins inside the headphone jack or the aux jack(headphone cable end)

One of the 3 bits of the headphone jack may be corroded as 1 does left,1does right,1does the mic,if one of these ills corroded you might find it doesn’t work properly as per the photo

Try isopropyl alcohol for cleaning,that’s what I find works a treat!
