@bbbuick most commonly you would heat the screen surface with a air gun or other appropriate machine, the slide some cutting wire between the LCD and the glass/touch screen to separate them as the glue was hopefully softened by the heat. Safely only if you have done it a few times sine there are some errors possible. Most common mistake is not enough heat and it'll break or to hot and it will destroy the LCD.
