It is a bridge rectifier and it converts your 220V AC to DC voltage. You will need to desolder it form the board in order to change it.
You may also need to unscrew it from the heatsink to remove it completely.
The replacement is quite inexpensive. Just make sure you buy a similar rectifier with the same voltage tolerance. You should be able to search for it by the label on the component.
