-Hi. This is a common problem on Pontiac G6 cars, usually caused by a communication error. While not always the solution, you can "work" the connections at the body control module (BCM), located to the left of the front passenger footwell. Pull the plastic panel out from the back edge to reveal the fuse block and BCM. You will see three large connectors attached to the BCM, two of which are held on with plastic "levers". Pull the levers toward you and the connectors will loosen. When you push the connectors back into the BCM, the levers will want to return to the locked position. It is a good idea to do this several times to clean any corrosion off of the pins inside the connectors. This may help with your intermittent communication problem and trouble lights.
