Just to eliminate the possibility. Check if the rear shock absorbers are OK.
-At the rear of the car go to one corner of the car and push down hard and as far as you can and then release, two or three times in a row, on the body of the car, to set up a bouncing/rocking motion. When you stop, the car should bounce up, then settle back to the at-rest height. If the car bounces more than twice, you most likely need new shocks. Do this on both sides.
