Directions state:
[quote]First, squeeze the recline adjustment handle (located behind the car seat) and adjust the car seat into the fully-reclined position – even if you plan to rotate the seat for forward-facing use. If you are having difficulty reclining the car seat, try the following: squeeze the recline adjustment handle, pull up slightly on the back of the car seat and then push down quickly and firmly on the car seat back.
Once the car seat is in the fully-reclined position, squeeze the rotation handle and rotate the car seat to either the rear-facing or forward-facing position.
Please note that the fully-reclined position becomes the fully-upright position as you rotate the car seat into the forward-facing position.
