-I have just struck success with this problem. I had read another person's answer where she said that holding the TAB key down enabled the functioning of the problem-keys. I tried the same test and voila! the keys worked with the TAB key on. I released the TAB key and woo-hoo !! the problem keys were back to working properly. Fingers crossed the problem doesn't return. i hope this helps some of you.
+I have had some success with this problem. I found that bringing up a Word Document and fiddling around with the keys, that eventually the keys would work, but only temporarily. Shortly after the keys would stop working again.
+
+But just now, with a Word Document up, and the problem-keys working, however temporary, I held down the problem-keys and held down the on/off button till the laptop shutdown. On turning the laptop back on, the keys have been working fine. That was 30 minutes ago. I've been typing away with no problem.
+
+Only time will tell if this solves the problem.
