@saabtweaker88 seems to be noted by NHTSA; check TSB 10052040 for more (really not much more) of an explanation. [document|27141]. This sounds like your vehicle is having an issue with the Engine Control Module (would be consistent with the electrical diagram too, since you already checked/replaced the other parts). I would suggest that you have your Golf scanned for any codes and see what pops up. You might even have to consider getting it reset.
