To start with, is the water on top of the display or under it? My guess is behind it from your description, but I just wanted to make sure.

You are most likely able to have the TV working as normal again. :D

=== Solutions: ===

If the water is on top of the screen, take a dry cloth and gently use it to get rid of the water.

If the water is behind the screen, please add a picture of it so that someone with more experience to be able to help you with a solution for how to solve that. [br]

=== Future Cleaning ===

In the future, avoid using something wet like water or any other chemical/alcohol for cleaning a screen.

Most times, you are good just using a dry microfibre cloth to gently remove most of the dust etc. from the screen.

If there is something eg. sticky, it will probably don't be enough and you may use a slightly DAMP (water) cloth, or some dedicated screen cleaner (spray it on the cloth, NOT directly on the screen).
