# Fully power down the device, and disconnect any external power (charger)
# Open the kickstand, and locate the cover. Using a SIM ejector tool (or an unbent small paperclip), insert it into the hole and apply light pressure until the cover pops open.
# With a Torx (T3) screwdriver, unscrew the SSD's retention screw.
# Lift the SSD up gently, about 15-30 degrees, then pull it out towards you.
# You may now send the drive to a reputable data recovery service, or attempt it yourself by using another PC in a compatible M.2 slot it has free, or by using an M.2 PCIe NVME enclosure.
