My problems have resolved 100%.
I faced the same issue when I tried to use the Apple Pencil as a stylus. Fingers would tingle, then burn, then if I persist, start going numb. The burning persists for days even if I stop using the device(s). At one point I was using a Bluetooth mouse for a few weeks and tried to persist through the burns. Bad idea. Ended up losing my fingerprints after like 2 months. I stopped all contact with active styluses and stopped actively touching capacitive screens and the problem resolved fully in a few months. I have stopped touching my phone or iPad capacitive screens and even stopped holding them. I keep them propped up on my table on stands and use a passive stylus to use them.
